ACG summer school and study options for Year 13 International students with sights set on University

Dear valued partner
NCEA secondary school exams will be starting soon in New Zealand and there will be some international students who do not achieve the English results needed to enrol at University in 2019.
ACG Education will be holding a summer school at our Auckland Queen St campus for International students who need additional Level 2 English literacy credits to achieve University entrance.
The course runs for 6 weeks from Monday December 10 - Friday 18 January
Fees are NZD2,800 (including registration fee) plus NZQA fees. For full details on the programme and application see below.

Please note:

  • Applications will be accepted until the week before Summer School commences on December 10, 2018.
  • INZ have advised us that if students hold a valid student visa for their current one year programme to January 18, 2018  then they may not be required to obtain a new student visa for this programme.

In addition, for those students who may also need additional academic assistance to enter university a foundation programme can provide an excellent second chance for such students.
We offer foundation programmes of various lengths, depending on the student’s academic ability and English language skills. Upon successful completion of course completion requirements, students will receive a guaranteed offer of place at the respective university.  These qualifications are also recognised and accepted by all NZ Universities and many universities in Australia.
ACG Pathways offers:

  • Guaranteed entry to one of our three partner universities: The University of Auckland, AUT University and Victoria University of Wellington. Our qualifications are also accepted by all other New Zealand universities.
  • All programmes are tailored to meet student needs, with four intakes per year with course duration of 6 to 18 months. Students can study either in Auckland (for the University of Auckland and AUT University programme) or Wellington (for the Victoria University of Wellington programme)
  • A range of academic subjects with intensive English classes to support successful international student achievement and university entrance results.
